Bollywood’s No.1 Heroine Is Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone is an Indian model and a budding film actress. She is the eldest daughter of former world badminton Champion Prakash Padukone and Ujjala Padukone a travel agent. Deepika Padukone was born on January 05, 1986 in
Copenhagen, Denmark, at the age of 11 months she moved to Mangalore, Karnataka when her family returned to India. She has a sister Anisha Padukone.
She has been modeling appearances in print and television advertising campaigns for Liril, Close-Up toothpaste and Limca, receiving many prestigious modeling offers, including brand ambassadorship of the Jewels of India, an annual jewelery exhibition. She hit the international scene when Maybelline made her their new international cover-girl face.
This pretty and graceful model won many awards for her modeling style. At the fifth annual Kingfisher Fashion Awards, for Indian models and designers, she was awarded as the Model of the Year. Her sensuous photographs appearing on the 2006 Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar has virtually proved that Deepika is indeed a supermodel in her own right. She also won two trophies at the Idea Zee F Awards in 2006 - Female Model of the year (Commercial Assignments) and Fresh Face of the year.
